Grants and donations

Grants are a vital means through which Roche supports healthcare and patient organisations in their mission to enhance patient care and services. These grants can fund a diverse range of activities, provided they ultimately aim to improve patient care. It is important to note that Roche will not have any involvement in the projects financed by these grants.

If your organisation is interested in applying for a grant, we would be pleased to receive your application. We primarily support initiatives that directly benefit patient care in the following therapeutic areas:

  • Oncology (Breast, Lung, Liver)

  • Haematology (Lymphoma)

  • Ophthalmology

  • Multiple Sclerosis

  • Neuromuscular conditions (Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy)

  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

  • Rare indications (Haemophilia, Lupus Nephritis, Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria)

‘Donations and grants’ collectively mean providing funds, benefits-in-kind or services freely given for the purpose of supporting healthcare, scientific research or education, with no consequent obligation on the recipient organisation, institution and the like to provide goods or services to the benefit of the pharmaceutical company in return. Donations and grants to individuals are prohibited. In general, donations are physical items, services or benefits-in-kind which may be offered or requested. Grants are the provision of funds.
